Autumn/Winter 2014: Couture Beauty! (Part 1)

EXQUISITE detailing, the most luxurious of materials and no-holds-barred creativity – the seasonal couture shows are as much of an opportunity for the make-up artists and hairstylists to flex their creative muscles as for the designers.

For autumn/winter 2014, Versace kicked off the couture calendar with models sporting high-gloss chignons by Guido Palau and teal metallic eye make-up painted on by Pat McGrath, followed by Peter Philips’s silver-lined first outing as the creative director of Dior make-up the next day. Always beautiful, and all the better when viewed up close and personal from backstage – see the couture hair and make-up in detail here.
