The much publicized free fertility treatment contest tagged little miracles’ has come and gone but not without impacting lives of fertility challenged couples.
The event which held on Sunday 25 October 2015, at civic centre in VI, Lagos was very educating as well as entertaining.
Some members of FAAI (fertility awareness advocacy initiative) chaired by Eng Soetan and Mr. Evorukhai, who had experienced IVF shared their stories. Which created a lot of impact on the audience as many realized that there was nothing wrong with having an IVF baby or babies as the case may be.
Access bank also came to the rescue as Ejike, a staff of the bank expressed the banks willingness to assist couples achieve their dreams of being parents, through its maternal healthcare services support which gives loans to couples for as much as 3 circles of IVF.
The event was compered by Owen Gee, who shared rib-cracking jokes and reduced the tension in the atmosphere.
In all 17 couples emerged winners, 15 out of those couples were not present at the venue, rather they were spread across Lagos, Abuja, Asaba, Jos, Port Harcourt, Benue, etc.
The MD of Nordica, Dr Abayomi Ajayi had to douse the already panicky audience by increasing the number to 17 and phone numbers of the audience were quickly collected and two couple Mr and Mrs Morgan and Mr and Mrs Onwurah eventually emerged joining the previous 15 couples.
In all it was a grand event which rejuvenated hopes and interest in IVF as another option for fertility challenged couples?
Because the panellists made up of, Dr Ajayi, Mrs Ajayi, Engr Soetan, Mr Evorukhai, Mr Kandehi, Mr. Sola Oladikan etc answered all their questions with practical tales and testimonies.
